Responsibilities:

Maxon is seeking a talented and creative Product Designer to join our dynamic team, working on Redshift, our high-performance rendering software. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and interface of Redshift, ensuring it remains an industry-leading tool for artists and designers.

  • Work and design across multiple DCC’s where Redshift exists to ensure a consistent experience
  • Have in-depth knowledge about rendering technology and techniques that can be applied across all implementations of Redshift and future applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other designers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
  • Execute all design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve the product
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies as they relate to rendering
  • Ensure that the design solutions are consistent with the Redshift brand and meet the needs of our users
