[What you will be working on] As a Product Designer with Singpass, you’ll help shape internal tools that power one of Singapore’s most trusted digital platforms. Singpass is the National Digital Identity that enables secure, seamless experiences for citizens, businesses, and government agencies. You’ll join the Identity domain, which manages the full lifecycle of digital identity - from account registration to fraud detection and resolution. This domain designs and builds internal platforms such as the Admin Portal and Fraud Management System, which are used by frontline officers, backend operators to ensure safe, reliable identity operations at national scale. This role is ideal for designers who enjoy solving practical UX problems, understanding internal user needs, and designing interfaces that improve operational workflows. You’ll be guided by senior designers and report to the Head of the Design Function at Singpass. What you will work on Design user interfaces and workflows for internal tools such as the Admin Portal and Fraud Management System. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and operations teams to understand needs and improve daily processes. Support user research and usability testing with internal users, including helpdesk agents and counters staff. Translate complex policy and system requirements into simple, usable UI designs. Contribute to design reviews, document your thinking, and iterate based on feedback. Maintain consistency with design system components and accessibility standards. [What we are looking for] 1-3 years of experience in product or UX design or strong internship experience in related fields. A portfolio that shows your design process, problem-solving ability, and attention to usability. Proficiency in interaction and visual design tools such as Figma. Comfortable working with complexity and learning from feedback. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Interest in designing internal tools, operations systems, or enterprise UX. Bonus if you’re curious about identity, security, or public sector work and keen to explore product marketing, such as crafting product narratives, UI copy, or supporting adoption efforts.
