About the Role
We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our growing design team at a leading fintech company. This is a fantastic opportunity to sharpen your skills while building tools that make life easier for accountants—and by extension, millions of people who rely on them.
You’ll report to a Senior UI/UX Designer and become a go-to expert on our design system. Working closely with UX designers and developers, you’ll help maintain quality and consistency across our product suite. From concept to delivery, you’ll play a key role in creating inclusive, user-friendly experiences across all devices.

• Thrives in close collaboration with designers and developers in agile teams.
• Is highly organised and skilled at managing design iterations and version control.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent use of our design system across projects.
• Support usability testing and feed insights back into the design process.
• Partner with the design system team to identify new component needs.
• Optimise and quality-check responsive mobile experiences.
• Create and refine pixel-perfect mockups in an agile environment (we use SAFe).
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with designers and developers.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience with design/prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Axure, Sketch, Adobe, InVision).
• A passion for designing exceptional digital experiences.
• Strong self-organisation and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and grow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 1 year in a design role, or 5 years in another digital role.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in Agile/Scrum software delivery.
• Background in technology or HCI.
• Strong visual design capabilities.
• Copywriting skills.
