KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the development of selected stick projects from concept to completion.
  • Identify and implement improvements to composite manufacturing processes in collaboration with production teams, aiming to enhance efficiency, consistency, and product quality.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners to implement, troubleshoot, and deliver cutting-edge technologies.
  • Develop custom tools and scripts using programming to support product development, testing, and data analysis.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to identify opportunities for product improvement.
  • Innovate and design new concepts and technologies to shape future product development.
  • Coordinate with internal testing teams (field, mechanical, and performance labs) to validate product performance.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Degree in Mechanical or Material engineering
  • 3 to 5 years in the development of hard goods and/or composite manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge and experience in composite structure and process
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently, to solve problems, to take initiative and be agile
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet all internal timelines – with a strong sense of ownership
  • Good oral and written communication skills in both English and French
  • Displays organisation, rigor and structure
  • Ability to cooperate well and effectively with people from a wide variety of backgrounds within and outside the company.

Strong assets

  • Knowledge in VBA, Excel macros
  • Good knowledge of hockey and sports in genera

Some occasional travel within North America and in Asia is required every year
