POSITION OVERVIEW

We are actively seeking to recruit a talented Product Developer to join our successful team – they need to be highly motivated, enthusiastic and a dedicated team player who can assist us with bringing our product to the next level. You will be involved in identifying key trends to create new Playing Kit and Teamwear for both Pro/Grassroots clubs. As part of the UK based product development team you will collaborate with our wider reaching team of developers to interpret concepts and translate them into viable products for different markets across multiple sports. This is fast paced role, with a requirement for a highly focused, organised and driven individual who can produce new product that will stand out from our competitors.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRED

Qualification to degree level or similar in Fashion Design/Textiles Management.
Two years proven work experience in a design and manufacturing.
Excellent Adobe Illustrator/ photoshop experience/knowledge.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
Confident in ideas/decisions and be able to perform effectively under pressure and within timescales.
Meticulous eye for detail for QC of garments and checking documents for all products.
Adaptive to change, excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, ambition, and the drive to progress.

Responsibilities

Researching and developing key trends in trims, fabric, prints and products that can be incorporated into the development process.
Researching brand competitors within their sport fields and ensuring our product adds value within the market.
Designing and developing all teamwear - from stock leisurewear packages, playing kits, training gear and all key products for unisex, ladies and kids.
Managing the product development process from initial design concept, producing detailed technical packs (spec sheets) that outline all aspects of the product.
Signing off first samples and PPS samples for production. Thorough garment measuring/fitting and checking all details are correct – attention to detail will be key.
Working with our factories and sales teams on critical paths to ensure all product meets delivery time scales – this may involve travelling to meet with customers, suppliers and/or factories.
Working closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure our quality standards are met through our factory supplies.
Working effectively as an individual and/or as part of a team with the knowledge, confidence and ability to influence and communicate at all levels, including with Senior Management, Suppliers and Sales teams.
