Description
Leading a large team of employees overseeing vehicle coordination, test plan tracking, vehicle ordering, vehicle transportation and vehicle storage at a secured lot. Defining and meeting budgets through vehicle ordering, on time disposals based based on glide path. Support Central Fuel station. Development of new business opportunities. Ensuring compliance to corporate vehicle audits. Enforcement of vehicle compliance to corporate polices. Auditing internal processes to ensure continuity. Reviewing lost/stolen vehicle reports - working with Ford security, staff investigations, AMRO, local police dept. Support investigation on security breached involving camouflaged prototypes. Reviewing accident reports - working with AMRO. Shipping (import, export, and domestic as required) Liaison to Ford management, OGC, Vehicle Programs Liaison to Ford Vehicle Accounting. Managing the Rotunda Lot, a secure parking lot staffed by coordinators, runners and moving vehicles local to Dearborn. Ensuring all vehicles are prepped with appropriate labels, GPS, Plate, registration, and insurance. Established and active employee resource groups Associate degree or equivalent experience 5+ years in Product Development Engineering, Vehicle Engineering experience preferred. Excellent presentation and organizational skills Excellent understanding of overall product development processes. Must be motivated/self-starter, able to multitask, adapt to change very quickly, and work with all levels of management.
