Description
You will apply thermal/fluid modeling methodologies and analysis techniques to drive the design and development of the Air-Handling Subsystem on Fords future ICE, hybrid and electrified powertrains. Established and active employee resource groups Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field with a focus on Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics 5+ years of experience working with 3D CFD software tools such as ANSYS/Fluent, Star-CCM+, OpenFOAM, ANSA 2+ years of proficiency in CAD tools such as CATIA, Teamcenter, 3DX 2+ years of working experience in analysis of thermal and fluid systems supporting product development 2+ years of programming experience (Java, Python, scripting) Experience with 3D Conjugate heat transfer modeling Experience with method development in relation to Computational Fluid Dynamics Experience with Human Comfort Modeling Experience with the application of AI or LLM tools in the product development process Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to adjust to changing priorities
