*Will help with the development of both color cosmetics and skincare products and other beauty categories.
Seeking a Product Development Coordinator to support the execution of the development of new products. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-moving environment, with a positive, can do attitude that can adapt to a changing environment and shifts in priorities. He/she is passionate, creative, culturally sensitive, curious, highly organized, analytical, and collaborative.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• MIN of 1-2 years of TRUE product development experience in the beauty industry, ideally in color cosmetics
• Proven track record of attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while effectively managing multiple priorities
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and relevant industry databases
• Willingness to travel (domestic and international)
• Must be based in Los Angeles, CA and able to work in the San Fernano Valley area 3-4 days a week on site.

• Assist Product Development Director and Product Development Manager with day-to-day needs
• Support in development and testing of new formulas
• Perform competitive research on new products, ingredient technologies, and competitive brand analysis to establish supporting data towards new products concepts
• Maintain and organize all files and tracking documents for all development-related items, including both electronic files and physical submissions within the office
• Catalogue and maintain PD storage rooms for product samples, including competitive benchmarks, innovation presentations, and project submissions
• Collaborate with team to establish formula performance/shade prototypes for all new formula development and reformulation development
• Collaborate with marketing team, and engage with cross functional partners (Ops, Design, Packaging, Project Management, Finance, Supply Chain, PR) to deliver profitable innovation plans and support programs
• Perform on-site formula development, shade matching, pilot/ scale-up and production batching, as needed
• Attend industry events, trade shows and supplier meetings to stay abreast of current trends and technologies, as needed
