POSITION SUMMARY

FUI is seeking a product development coordinator to work with our product development manager and team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of duties relating to product development specifications, managing, and maintaining data surrounding footwear styles through commercialization phases of the lifecycle of each style created. Additional duties included working with account executives and customers for the brand. Important attributes include attention to detail, accuracy, ability to meet deadlines, and excellent communication skills.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Experience working within Microsoft and Adobe Creative Suite software.
  • Strong experience working with a team.
  • And professional and effective communication skills

PHYSICAL/MENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

This position will require sitting for long periods of time, walking, standing, and bending, as well as using fine motor skills, such as finger dexterity for typing or calculator use.
The person in this position frequently communicates with others. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Part of this job will be spent indoors in a climate-controlled environment, however working in a non-climate-controlled environment will also be required weekly.

Responsibilities
  • To be responsible for and to manage and coordinate footwear samples throughout the commercialization phases of the lifecycle of each style.
  • Manage and organize preparations for shows including packing and shipping samples.
  • Coordinate and provide salesmen sets to account executives each season.
  • Manage customer needs relating to samples, style outs, forms, images, and any other requirements requested.
  • Work with executives, customer service, account executives, procurement, and customers providing information and service as required.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with our manufacturing teams, international source offices and factories.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
