THE ROLE: As a Product Development engineer, you will collaborate with various Product Development Groups to bring-up and ramp new products which include Plan, debug and handling manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors. THE PERSON: A successful candidate is one who can perform in a role that requires accountability for accuracy, reliability and completeness of assignment results critical to the project’s success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Validate new product features, test conditions, test methodologies, and test contents during first silicon bring-up Post Silicon Bring up of Test contents leading to optimization for mass production enablement Analysis of part failures leading to test improvement Test content & test flow development, debug, test and characterization PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of programming languages such as Java Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, shell script Good understanding of Linux, Unix or Windows OS SLT (System Level Test) test experience ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or comparable disciplines LOCATION: Singapore #LI-CO1 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
