JOB OVERVIEW

Cleartone Telecoms are the market leader in the design, development and manufacture of mobile and fixed computer and video products used by the emergency services. We are seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic systems and components. This role requires a strong understanding of both hardware and software aspects of electronics, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in system design, firmware development, and debugging techniques.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge alongside electrical engineering principles is desirable.
  • Familiarity with tools such as MicroStation or Revit is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in all aspects of work.
    The company operates Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm only. This provides a great work / life balance.

    Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop prototype electronic systems and components.
  • Conduct system design and integration, focusing on performance optimisation and reliability.
  • Perform rigorous testing and debugging of electronic circuits to identify and resolve issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, processes, and modifications throughout the project lifecycle.
    Skills should include experience of blue sky project designs and development, knowledge of CCTV camera technology and electronic hardware.
