Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

At Hacksmith Industries, we don’t just dream up ideas - we build them. We’re looking for a Product Development Engineer who’s part engineer, part inventor, and 100% ready to create the next generation of products for Hacksmith.store. If you can imagine, design, prototype, and refine cool, functional, and manufacturable products that fans will want to get their hands on, you might just be the hero we’re looking for.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Invent & Design: Turn wild ideas into functional, manufacturable products.
  • Prototype Like a Pro: 3D print, machine, assemble, and test until it’s perfect.
  • Engineer for the Real World: Integrate DFM principles so products are as easy to make as they are to use.
  • Collaborate Across the Lab: Work with our builders, machinists, and creatives to merge engineering with Hacksmith’s unique style.
  • Make it Ready for Market: Prepare technical drawings, source components, and work with manufacturing partners to take products from one-off builds to scalable production.
