PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT INTERN

We are looking for a skilled intern to join MUUTO’s product development department on Strøget in Copenhagen.
As an intern, you will play a central role and be involved in all phases of the product development process across multiple projects in collaboration with the department.

Your responsibilities

  • Participation in product development
  • Preparation of construction drawings in SolidWorks
  • 3D modeling and renderings
  • Inspection and quality assurance of samples and prototypes
  • Preparation of production documentation
  • Preparation of quality and product descriptions
  • Preparation of product guides and user manuals
  • Data collection and research
  • Various practical ad hoc tasks

Your profile:
You are an independent, initiative-taking, and engaged engineering student or similar, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You have an interest in product development within interior design, lighting, and furniture, along with technical understanding of the underlying constructions. You are familiar with 3D modeling and have knowledge of preparing production documentation. Furthermore, you are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, as well as SolidWorks and Adobe programs such as Illustrator and InDesign.
What we offer?
An exciting internship in an international company with strong roots in Scandinavian design. You will work alongside passionate colleagues in a positive work environment with an informal atmosphere. The internship provides an opportunity to gain extensive knowledge of the design industry and practical experience in all phases of development. Additionally, you will acquire knowledge of applicable standards, material selection, and construction in practice. Throughout the internship, you will receive guidance and mentoring from professional engineers and product developers. In return, we expect tasks to be completed with a positive attitude, high morale, and for you to take initiative and contribute ideas.
We are looking for interns to start as soon as possible. The internship lasts a minimum of 4-6 months and provides an opportunity to complement your education with relevant experience in your field, gain insight into the design industry, and potentially secure a job after completion.
Please send a brief application telling us about yourself and why you would like to be our future intern. Feel free to include a portfolio from relevant projects.
