Description of Duties Title: Product Development Intern Classification: Nonexempt Salary*: $18.50/hr Schedule*: Onsite Location: Van Nuys, CA Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with fabric and trim sourcing, swatch library organization, and vendor communication. Coordinate shipments of samples, materials and packages to mills and vendors. Support with sample management: organizing, labeling, checking in/out and distributing to internal and external teams. Assist with Design Approval Meeting preparation and set up. Assist with Collection Review set up. Research current fashion trends, materials and innovations for seasonal inspiration. Help prepare BOMs Provide general administrative and operational support to Product Development Team in day-to-day functions Qualifications: Computer proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail Flexible and adaptable in a rapidly growing company Minimum Requirements Must be able to be in office a minimum of 4 days a week; full schedule to be determined with supervisors. Physical Requirements Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation Periods sitting at a desk, typing, sketching and working on a computer Able to lift/move/push/pull objects up to 25 lbs Able to walk, sit and stand for periods of time Able to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phones Must be able to access various areas of a given location * The DÔEN 2026 Internship Program is a paid project.
Responsibilities
The intern will assist the Product Development team with fabric and trim sourcing, sample management, and vendor communication. They will also support the team by preparing for design meetings, conducting trend research, and managing administrative tasks.
