MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in apparel manufacturing, product development or apparel design related field
  • 9+years in a product development role or related field
  • 3+ year in a managerial or leadership role
  • Experience with costing and overseas vendor communication
  • Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and knowledge of CAD a plus but not required
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel and Google applications
  • In depth knowledge of fabric, apparel, materials, construction and fit
  • 5+ years in a management role

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Utilize positive past vendor relationship and resources
  • In depth knowledge of textiles, sourcing and development
  • Ability to travel overseas once or twice a year

    For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.
    A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $90,000- $110,000.
Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage existing vendor relationships to constantly improve product
  • Lead internal and external calendar management to ensure deliveries are met
  • Manage WIPs which includes the monitoring of WIPs for all product stages for multiple brands or categories
  • Strong ability to negotiate, set and approve target FOB costs and retails to ensure margins are maintained
  • Provide guidance to team members on how to strengthen their negotiation skills
  • Manage all phases of the PD cycle with internal teams which includes managing timelines, vendor relationships, and budgets to meet launch dates
  • Integrate with cross-functional departments to ensure clarity on product pipeline and ensure on-time deliverables
  • Develop and improve existing capabilities
  • Partner with the Supply Chain team to oversee all seasonal allocations and to source/onboard new vendors
  • Manage the overall flow of allocation, sourcing and development of high quality product amongst team members
  • Continue to evolve product development processes and to communicate it thoroughly and effectively
  • Assist in leading workshops for junior level team members
  • Cultivate, interview and train junior members which includes refining their development process
  • Travel overseas to vendors to expedite product and improve processes
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by executives
