Our product development team plays a central role in this vision, crafting innovative technologies like Staria´s BI & Planning software, Naviloq, and NetSuite ERP localizations.
We are now looking for a Product Development Manager to lead our development teams and spearhead the creation of cutting-edge solutions. This new position offers a unique opportunity to shape your role based on your strengths and expertise.

YOUR WORKPLACE AND FLEXIBILITY:

We are seeking candidates based in either the capital region of Finland or Sweden. Staria’s hybrid work model provides the best of both worlds: modern offices located in the heart of Helsinki or Stockholm, combined with the flexibility to work remotely. For candidates in Sweden, bi-monthly travel to our headquarters in Helsinki is required to facilitate essential in-person collaboration.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Team leadership:

• Lead and mentor a growing team of 10+ talented individuals, creating a collaborative and supportive environment where our values Collaboration, Courage, and Commitment come to life.
• Ensure the development team stays focused and productive by removing unnecessary barriers and distractions.
• Allocate resources effectively, providing guidance to team members and ensuring smooth project execution.

Process management:

• Oversee the full product development lifecycle, from ideation to production, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint retros, and resource management.
• Implement and continuously refine efficient processes for idea management, quality assurance, and deployment.

Collaboration:

• Partner with Technical Product Owners and other key stakeholders to align development priorities with business goals.
• Collaborate across departments, including sales, infrastructure, and service teams, to address challenges and drive solutions.

KEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:

• Proven experience leading product development teams and managing team performance.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to grasp complex technical applications and their business impact, including front-end, back-end, and database development requirements, and translate them into actionable tasks.
• Experience in process optimization and managing large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English. Swedish / Finnish is an advantage.
• Experience in SaaS or growth companies is considered an advantage.
• A background in coding and a degree in ICT are seen as valuable assets.
