Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Pay: Competitive pay based on education and/or experience
Days: Monday through Friday; rotating weekend
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience in blood product component manufacturing required
  • Experience with SafeTrace and MasterControl software required
  • Experience working with human blood, blood products, and tissue required
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong ability to focus

  • Good manual dexterity
  • Knowledge of computers and use of windows programs

Responsibilities
  • Manufacture platelet poor and platelet rich plasma components on all plasma units that are imported into the R&D Department/CytoGrowth Solutions (CGS)
  • Assist with the optimization of Universal Serum product (as R&D member)
  • Manufacture Universal Serum product for clients and distribution partners (as CGS employee)
  • Assist with the optimization of pooled fibronectin concentrate product (as R&D member)
  • Manufacture pooled fibronectin concentrate product for clients and distribution partners (as CGS employee)
  • Assist with the optimization of pooled feeder cell product (as R&D member)
  • Assist with the development of new blood and cell culture support products (R&D)
  • Assist with inventory management of blood components and final manufacturing lots (R&D/CGS).
  • Document results of product development efforts (R&D/CGS)
  • Perform sterility testing on manufactured product lots (R&D/CGS)
  • Perform instrument quality control and maintenance as needed (R&D/CGS)
  • Work with members of R&D and other departments to get access to needed blood components and equipment required for product development and manufacture (R&D/CGS)
  • Stay current on all training required to operate equipment and perform component manufacturing procedures at OBI
