What role will you play?
As a Product Director in Home Lending, you will play a critical role in managing the home loan portfolio, leading a team in managing the back-book to ensure the product functions in line with expectations and meets customer, regulatory and shareholder needs. This includes overseeing the performance of controls, product features, and adherence to key regulatory obligations while managing the risks across the end-to-end value chain. You will proactively manage the portfolio of issues, controls, and remediation activities driving timely resolution. Furthermore, you will ensure legal product documents remain accurate, compliant, and fit for purpose and oversee legacy product arrangements, driving continued simplification while managing the risks.
You will partner with teams across the ecosystem to further strengthen our Financial Assistance and Collections capabilities to ensure appropriate customer outcomes are delivered and regulatory expectations met. You will manage complex lending scenarios in the back book arising from complaints, vulnerable client matters and collections activity. A key focus of your role will be uplifting data quality and governance practices to ensure product data is appropriately managed and meets the needs of internal and external consumers. In addition, you will execute core product operations functions, including responding to product queries, managing vendors, implementing rate changes, and providing subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
