JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Product Director to lead the development and scaling of our cutting-edge software solution focused on risk, compliance, safety, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management. Working directly with the Founder/CEO and CTO, you will be instrumental in transforming their vision into a market-leading product that addresses both current and future market challenges. You will oversee all aspects of business planning, product pricing strategy, UX design, and market opportunity identification.
The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be able to pivot seamlessly between strategy and execution. You will play a critical role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to conduct market research, guide product development, and engage with customers to ensure a user-centric approach. Your leadership will drive innovation, position our product at the forefront of the industry, and help establish it as a key player in the risk, compliance, safety, and ESG space.
This role requires working closely with the Commercial Marketing Director and the Technical Product Management Team to ensure alignment across all functions, from go-to-market strategy to product development.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proven experience in product management, preferably in software solutions related to risk management, compliance, safety, or ESG.
  • Strong expertise in market research methodologies, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage relationships and influence key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success, to drive product development and go-to-market execution.
  • A track record of successfully delivering innovative and customer-centric products that address complex market needs.
  • Familiarity with data ingestion, processing, and reporting requirements, especially in a software context.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute at both the tactical and operational levels.
  • Experience in pricing strategy and business planning for software products.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, ensuring the product is positioned for long-term success.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product vision and strategy for the risk, compliance, safety, and ESG software, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with customers to gather feedback and anticipate their evolving needs, ensuring the product evolves to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial Marketing Director to align on market positioning, messaging, and product launch strategies.
  • Work alongside the Technical Product Management Team to ensure seamless execution of product development, maintaining high quality and timely delivery.
  • Partner with sales, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure product adoption and market penetration.
  • Define and track key performance metrics, reporting on product success, adoption rates, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead the creation and execution of a robust pricing strategy that balances value, profitability, and market competition.
  • Leverage insights and data to continuously innovate and refine the product, maintaining a customer-centric focus at all stages of development.
  • Oversee data ingestion, processing tasks, and reporting requirements to ensure the product meets the diverse needs of customers in the risk, compliance, safety, and ESG sectors.
