Description
Provides technical support for installation, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues New design or prototype hardware items onsite tool evaluation and proliferate to onsite tools Responsible for making onsite tools up and running. Manage onsite tool up time and tool down root cause pareto to meet required tool up time goal Onsite tool configuration manage and ensure up to date Maintain and update tool config with spare parts list and work with spares long lead items are pre ordered CIP items develop & escalation support Technical support to Regional Product Support / Field Service Engineer for issue escalation activities Travel to Lam headquarter to work with Product Group for new hardware develop activities in Lam cleanroom lab. Work in a customer semiconductor fab environment and in a Lam cleanroom lab Maintain a high degree of customer engagement including face-to face to solve customer issues Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 3+ year of experience; or equivalent work experience. Proficiency in computer applications, including data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. English communication, written and verbal, and customer relationship skills. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, wearing personal protective safety equipment, or cleanroom suit Able to travel, domestically and internationally, based on customer needs, flexibility to work a variety shifts including compressed and alternative workweeks including overtime and on-call if needed. Prior product design and technical engineer experience is beneficial. Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment. Experience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams. Creative thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
