Burner Components, part of Danfoss Climate Solutions, is looking for a Product Engineer to join our Production, Development & Application team in Nordborg.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

There are many ways into this role for the right candidate. Whether you are an experienced technician or an engineer by education, we value some years of experience in a similar role. However, we are also open to recently graduated engineers with the right passion and motivation.
Most important is that you have experience or a natural flair for working with technical equipment, automation, and mechanical and electronic products — along with a keen interest in developing your knowledge and skills further.

To succeed, you bring energy, initiative, and follow-through, using your technical knowledge and logical mindset to create results.

• Familiarity with SAP, Inventor, Six Sigma, and IATF 16949 is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and basic Danish is needed. Or a strong willingness to quickly learn Danish

As our new Product Engineer, you will contribute to the development of products for combustion and water applications while optimizing production to improve output, quality, and cost-efficiency.
Our work is driven by market trends and requests from leading OEM customers, and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify the best technical solutions in terms of functionality, performance, and cost.

In more detail, you will:

• Convert market needs into product solutions and specifications.
• Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement), with high demands on quality, cost, performance, and reliability.
• Prepare technical drawings and documentation for production equipment, components and products - using Autodesk Inventor.
• Work with different compliance tasks (RoHS, REACH, UL, CE marking, etc)
• Plan and execute projects related to product and production development and optimization
• Support Supply Chain in troubleshooting and testing of production equipment or machinery.
