As a Product Engineer in the SoC Test Supply Chain team, you will aim:

• to drive Advantest towards operational excellence in an outsourced manufacturingenvironment,
• to drive manufacturing processes’ optimization, cost reduction and quality improvementinitiatives,
• to take supply chain metrics towards defined goals working closely with our contractmanufacturers, internal teams in Development, Supply Chain and Product Marketing in a veryinternational environment,
• to manage quality, product changes and technical supply chain processes of products toconstantly fulfill customer and business requirements,
• to provide special technical advice to peers and management,
• to actively drive supply chain requirements into hardware and test software design to achieveefficient and predictable manufacturability by utilizing the capabilities of our partners,
• to bring new instruments of the V93000 IC tester into production on time,
• to do all the above without close and constant supervision, neither from peers nor frommanagers.

Requirements:

Being the successful candidate, you:

• have a bachelor’s or a master’s or a doctoral degree in electrical & electronic engineering,
• possess a broad spectrum of electrical & electronic engineering & measurement techniques,
• have a broad knowledge of end-to-end manufacturing processes of electronic high-levelassemblies,
• are familiar with printed circuit assembly development and manufacturing processes,
• are proactive, flexible and have an innovative mindset with analytical problem-solving skills,
• can demonstrate a strong ownership of the product you will be managing,
• have good communication skills and are a team player in cross-collaborations typical of amatrix and global organization,are willing and able to travel (
• 10%) to our business partners and to our multiple sites,
• are fluent in English (at least CEFR C1), ideally in German too, but a CEFR B1 would suffice.
