POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to Senior Engineer, we are seeking a Product Engineer to join our team. This role will help develop and improve products, with a strong emphasis on CAD modeling, prototyping, and supporting production and sales teams. This role will be focused, but not limited to, Furniture products.
QUALIFICATIONS
· 2 years of product design experience
· Proficiency in SolidWorks (design, assemblies, technical drawings).
· Understanding of GD&T and CAD best practices.
· Hands-on experience with prototyping, 3D printing, and product testing.
· Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
· Knowledge of BOMs, ECNs, and manufacturing processes an asset.
· Experience with rendering software (Keyshot) and ERP systems (SYSPRO) is a plus.

· 3D Design & Drafting: Create and revise parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings in SolidWorks. Apply proper GD&T for manufacturing.
· CAD Management: Maintain an organized, editable CAD library. Provide alternative file formats when needed. Improve SolidWorks templates and drawing standards.
· Manufacturing Support: Generate BPPs, create jigs and fixtures, and support production with technical drawings, BOMs, ECNs, and installation instructions.
· Sales & Marketing Support: Act as a product expert, assisting sales with fit/function questions and providing drawings or technical details for customer use. Collaborate with marketing on product communication.
· Systems & Documentation: Set up part numbers in SYSPRO, keep records of project progress, and present updates in weekly product meetings.
