Description

Can you envision yourself in a role where your expertise makes a tangible difference? We are currently looking for a Product Engineer to join our busy team in Rainham, Essex!
As a Product Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the introduction of new, modified, and special products across our southern UK sites. You will manage the technical handover of new products to Assembly, leading design reviews, and ensuring comprehensive documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Your expertise will be crucial in owning the product introduction process, ensuring readiness in production, tooling, testing, and storage. You will also develop project timelines, monitor component manufacturing, and investigate issues through root cause analysis to support a clean, safe, and efficient working environment while continually improving processes and standards.
Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent

PRODUCT ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven ability to read and interpret machine and part drawings
  • Experience using CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar Product or Manufacturing Engineering role
  • A positive, team-first mindset with a passion for doing and delivering
  • Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Agility to adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and methods
  • A proactive, hands-on approach—you’re not just a planner; you’re a doer
