Description
Buena's Mission Buena makes real estate as simple and transparent as buying an ETF. Whether it's finding, buying, or financing an apartment. We do this by acquiring property managers across Germany and turning them into technology companies. Throughout the past 2 years we have become Germany's third-largest property manager with less than 25 full-time team members at our HQ. The Product Engineering Role We’re hiring a final core product engineering team member to help us rebuild an industry stuck in the early 2000s. Property managers across Germany still run on outdated desktop software with clunky workflows and zero automation. You won’t just build features, you’ll deeply understand user problems, design better systems, and ship solutions end-to-end. You’ll work closely with our founders and a handpicked team in Berlin to define, build and iterate on the product this market has never had, but always needed. Do not apply if 1. You're looking for a regular job. This is for company builders. 2. You don't want to work from our office in Berlin. 3. You're looking for a large team with established processes. What we're looking for Founder-type talent, matching our intensity and obsessed with solving real problems. Proven experience owning user problems end-to-end and shipping solutions that create measurable impact. Ability to operate in ambiguity and turn complex workflows into well-structured, scalable systems. Strong product intuition combined with solid engineering fundamentals in modern web technologies (e.g. TypeScript, React, Node). Clear thinking around system design, user flows and long-term product architecture. What you'll do Own user problems end-to-end. Take responsibility for product areas and drive decisions across UX, system design and implementation. Continuously improve the product based on real user feedback and hands-on operational insight. Work directly with founders, product and design to turn complex real-world operations into robust, scalable software. What you'll get Handpicked highly talented team members. Top-tier compensation, including virtual stock options. Housing allowance of up to €500/month (if residing near HQ). Learning budget of €1.200€/year. Daily breakfast & specialty coffee plus a €110 monthly lunch budget. Your Application Process These steps usually take 7 days, depending on your speed and diligence. 1. Fill out a brief questionnaire to cover the basics. 2. Get to know call with Christian, our Head of People. 3. Get to know call with Moritz, our CTO. 4. Case Study to demonstrate your technical approach. 5. Present the Case Study on-site to your future manager, Magid. 6. Behavioral Interview with Jan, our Co-Founder & COO. 7. Paid work trial to collaborate on a real problem. 8. Get to know Din, our Co-Founder & CEO. 9. Offer & Contract.
