Description
This position involves designing and supporting the development of anti-vibration rubber products for automotive applications, contributing to product performance, durability, and overall vehicle comfort. The role includes working within a global, multicultural team to support product development activities from concept through production.    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ➢ Support the development of AVS products from RFQ through prototype and mass production. ➢ Create and update design concepts, including presentations for OEM customers. ➢ Support design iterations and prepare reports on development progress and ideas. ➢ Assist with NVH testing activities, including test requests and report preparation. ➢ Support discussions with OEM customers regarding design direction, DFMEA, and DV test requirements.  SKILLS ➢ Experience with CAD tools is preferred, particularly CATIA V5; training will be provided for candidates with limited experience. ➢ 0–5 years of experience in automotive component design is preferred, including recent graduates and early-career professionals. ➢ Basic knowledge of product development processes, including: - CAD: 3D/2D modeling, GD&T, packaging layout, and basic design optimization - Evaluation: Supporting test requests, basic FEA analysis, result evaluation, and reporting - Manufacturing: Basic understanding of processes such as stamping, molding, curing, forming, and coating. ➢ Experience with rubber materials or rubber product design is preferred. ➢ Experience with metal or resin component design is preferred. ➢ Good communication, presentation, and reporting skills. ➢ Periodic travel is required. ➢ Education of BSME required or other related BS Engineering degree
