Description Product Handler – Stower (Full Time) Department: Inventory Operations Reports To: Inventory Operations Supervisor Location: Sacramento, CA Job Summary The Product Handler – Stower is responsible for accurately moving processed inventory into designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization, and maintaining inventory accuracy within the BuyWander warehouse. Responsibilities The Product Handler – Stower supports warehouse inventory operations and must be prepared to perform any of the following duties: Inventory Placement and Scanning Accurately scan newly processed items onto a Put-Away cart, ensuring nothing moves in the warehouse without being scanned. Navigate to an open put-away location, scan the location barcode, and verify that the location on your screen matches the sticker on the shelf. Place items into their verified locations. Meet or exceed UPH goals. Warehouse Organization and Maintenance Place items on shelves according to stacking rules and perform a rolling inventory scan of all items currently in that location. Adhere to strict stacking rules, including not stacking same or similar items together. Ensure SKU numbers are facing right-side-up and outward for easy reading. Correctly place small and bagged items into the smalls bin on each aisle. Place micro items into the small bin-wall. Maintain clean aisle hygiene. Technology Operation Use a smartphone and scanner to perform all put-away and inventory verification tasks. Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to operate a smartphone and Bluetooth scanner. Ability to manage technology to accomplish tasks. Physical Requirements This role involves sustained physical activity throughout the shift. The following are bona fide requirements of the position: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day. Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead frequently. Ability to work at a fast pace in a goal-driven environment. Position requires seeing, hearing, use of hands and fingers, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping in the performance of daily activities. Must be able to communicate with others including talking, hearing, and listening and exchanging communication.
