Product Information Analyst

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Communication or a related field of study OR have prior administrative work experience
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
o Thrive in a flexible and dynamic environment, comfortable with uncertainty and change
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deducting reasoning and decision-making skills
o Demonstrate willingness to learn, attention to detail and sense of urgency
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Demonstrate strong organizational, planning, and prioritizing abilities
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Previous experience working with product information
o General knowledge of ecommerce platforms and functionality of their product data and content

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Facilitating the product onboarding process and administrating through the product life cycle
o Performing in projects related to sku creation and master item data
o Enforcing Fastenal’s data governance strategies on incoming data and content from our suppliers
o Onboarding product specific content on behalf of a variety of departments within Fastenal
o Executing data optimization efforts that support Fastenal’s data governance practices
o Contributing towards team goals, KPIs and Metrics
