SUMMARY

This position plays a critical role in leading the cross-functional team for new projects, line extensions, product changes and product deletions. Leads the systematic “stage-gate” process for projects from ideation to commercialization to post-launch review. The position works closely with the Business Units, R&D, and support functions to optimize the commercialization process, shorten lead-time, and support cross-functional project teams maintaining documentation to track project status.
Responsible for ensuring the consistency and integrity of data across various systems and platforms within the organization, playing a critical role in maintaining accurate up-to-date information, which is essential for informed decision-making and efficient business operations.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Management or Supply Chain.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
  • 2 - 4 years of related experience in project management, product commercialization and/or CPG manufacturing/supply chain.
  • Exposure to food or manufacturing environment preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Onboard new customers by coordinating activities of cross functional teams consisting of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Onboard new products for new and current customers, including the coordination of specifications, set-up of items, and intent to commercialize procedures.
  • Execute requirements in customer websites and portals involving customer master data, item data and required documentation, ensuring compliance with established governance processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilize and become proficient in data synchronization tools like 1WorldSync and Syndigo to publish and manage data across the Global Synchronization Network (GDSN).
  • Implement data validation techniques to ensure the highest degree of data integrity and quality.
  • Work across functions to coordinate and maintain Cooler/Item Sort Codes; 5-day/Production Sequence Codes; Case & Container Sheets; and NFS/Spec sheets.
  • Develop standardized project schedule tools related to customer projects for internal use across all project types.
  • Work across functions to verify project schedules are on time and within scope. Set agendas, lead meetings, and communicate executional expectations for cross-functional teams.
  • Support necessary internal submissions where appropriate: samples, quotes, artwork submissions, intent to commercialize.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, IT) and external customers regarding data synchronization processes, changes, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data synchronization issues and improve data management workflows.
  • Process data synchronization requests and troubleshoot related problems to ensure minimal disruptions to business operations.
  • Document data synchronization processes, workflows, and system configurations for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in data synchronization and related technologies.
  • Identify and resolve project related issues and risks.
  • Compile and modify, when necessary, procedures and processes related to new introductions and changes to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assess business process to identify gaps and solutions to improve commercialization efforts. Optimizes processes for new products, product changes and product deletions and speed to market initiatives.
  • Modify existing Bills of Materials for all products as the need arises.
