Description Notice: This position is 100% onsite and based in Cottage Grove, WI. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role. Position Overview We are a leading global fitness company seeking a talented UI Designer to join our global marketing team. Reporting to the User Experience Manager, this role is responsible for designing visually compelling and intuitive user interfaces from concept to launch, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. The UI Designer will create engaging interfaces for product GUIs, websites, and other digital initiatives that reflect the premium standard of our globally recognized brands. We are looking for a detail-oriented designer with strong visual design expertise and a portfolio that demonstrates high-quality digital experiences. Responsibilities • Design intuitive, visually engaging user interfaces for digital products, websites, and applications • Create wireframes, mockups, high-fidelity screens, and interactive prototypes using modern design tools • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to refine design concepts and ensure successful implementation • Present design work and rationale clearly, incorporating feedback to iterate and improve • Maintain visual consistency across products and uphold brand design standards • Stay current on UI trends, tools, and best practices to continually elevate design quality • Support usability testing and apply insights to enhance user experience Marginal Job Functions: • Complete special projects as required • Assist in the development/education of UI/UX best practices Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Experience: • 3 to 5 years of professional UI or interaction design experience within an interactive agency, design studio, in-house marketing team, advertising agency, or similar environment • Strong proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite • Proven experience designing compelling user interfaces for product GUIs, responsive websites, and other digital platforms • Experience collaborating closely with stakeholders and developers to refine concepts and deliver high-quality final designs • A portfolio demonstrating exceptional interaction design and strong visual design execution Other Requirements: • Mac-based environment proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, React, and Jetpack Compose is a plus • Up to 5% domestic travel Skills: • Strong product GUI design expertise with a keen eye for visual detail and consistency • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction flow planning • Solid knowledge of platform capabilities and constraints across web, tablet, and mobile environments. • Ability to create conceptual models, user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes • Proficiency in modern UI and interaction design tools • Experience working with and contributing to scalable design systems • Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environments • Adaptability and flexibility to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting Ideally, you also possess: • Experience designing for digital product or online marketplace experiences • Strong understanding of how business goals, technology, and design strategy connect • Ability to help define success metrics and measure design impact Benefits: We offer an excellent compensation package and team-oriented work environment with growth opportunities.
