BytePlus is a business unit in ByteDance and provides intelligent platform services powered by industry-leading research in emerging technologies. From data analytics tools to computer vision software, BytePlus solutions enable businesses to reach their potential. To help businesses access their full potential, BytePlus technologies deliver a reliable and easy-to-use platform that they can use to discover, learn, purchase and use BytePlus solutions.
We are seeking a highly motivated product intern to support the strategic development of our Recommendation Platform. As a product intern, you will play a crucial role in the development of the product feature, driving innovation and ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of the rapidly evolving Recommendation landscape. In addition, you will contribute to the mission of accelerating adoption of BytePlus Recommend among enterprise customers.
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period.

Responsibilities

• Assist the product team throughout the product lifecycle, including product ideation, requirements gathering, concept validation, product development, and performance tracking, while gaining hands-on experience in product management.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams to understand user needs and business objectives.
• Develop a strong understanding of products and services, translating complex concepts into clear, engaging, and user-friendly content.
• Assist in the creation of documentation to improve user experience, including release notes and help documents.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to gather insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in product management, content writing, go-to-market strategy or market research is a plus but not required.
• Basic understanding of recommendation systems is a plus but not required.
• Full-time interns preferred (3-6 months)
• Part-time interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week are also welcome to apply
