The product team is currently developing new pathfinding features for Engrain’s interactive property maps that enable functionality like routing, distance calculations, and the integration of unit attributes and metadata. As a Product Intern, Spatial Data QA you will contribute to this development by performing data reconciliation, providing digital design support, and other tasks as needed with on-the-job training. You will work within the Product Experience team and collaborate with the Engineering and Product Management teams. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the product development process, support data integrity and product enhancements, with the potential to explore additional skills. Independently execute manual plotting and pathfinding implementation work, ensuring accuracy and adherence to developing Product standards Plot, tag, and validate nodes and ways on digital maps to support Engrain’s pathfinding features Perform quality assurance checks on completed work, identifying errors, inconsistencies, and edge cases and flagging them for follow-up Review survey footage, architectural files, and other source materials to ensure implementation accuracy Perform quality assurance work while working on active projects with developing applications and workflows, communicating with Product Management and Product Innovation in an agile and concise manner Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Product Operations to resolve issues and clarify requirements Who you are... Confident working independently while communicating with a larger team Precise, efficient, and comfortable in developing systems and standards Eager to identify log-jams and improvements to workflows and systems Exceptionally detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy Requirements What you offer us... Currently enrolled in college, a recent graduate, or possess a GED Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a major plus Experience with JSON, APIs, or Python is strongly preferred Ability to work efficiently and with urgency while maintaining focus on detail-oriented, repetitive tasks for extended periods Ability to follow instructions, primarily work independently, and assess the scope of work and effort required Adaptable to changing task requirements while using evolving software features during the application’s development and testing phases — some assignments may not have a standard operating procedure At home in an agile and high growth environment. What we offer you... Salary Disclosure for Colorado: base salary of $20.00/hr, with final compensation dependent on a variety of factors like experience, certifications and skill set. This role is a part-time role with a minimum of 20-30 hours/week.
