ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a Product Lead to drive and manage strategic initiatives focused on Accounting, Resales, and Payments at TownSq. This role is essential for shaping the future of our financial and transactional solutions, ensuring we deliver customer-centric, scalable, and high-impact experiences. The Product Lead will bridge the gap between long-term company vision and technical execution, leading initiatives that are critical to our global product strategy.   ACTIVITIES The Product Lead reports directly to the Head of Product and has the following responsibilities: * Cross-Tribe Initiative Leadership: Lead and manage complex initiatives across Accounting, Resales, and Payments that transcend team boundaries, ensuring alignment between squads and different Business Units (BUs). * People Management: Supervise and mentor Associate Product Managers (APMs) and Product Managers (Mid/Senior), fostering their professional growth and managing Individual Development Plans (IDPs). * Strategic Alignment & Roadmap: Facilitate discovery processes, define strategic roadmaps for the financial core of the product, and ensure continuous alignment with TownSq’s global business goals. * Complex Problem Solving: Address intricate challenges in financial flows, payment processing, and resale cycles that require strategic, non-predefined solutions. * Stakeholder Management: Maintain proactive communication with internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, Sales) and external partners or clients. * OKR & Metric Management: Collaborate with led teams to define and track success metrics (KPIs) and OKRs, ensuring data-driven decision-making. * Experimentation & Research: Conduct user interviews and select appropriate research methods to validate hypotheses and iterate on financial product features. * Process Optimization: Contribute to optimizing operational processes to maximize the team's time spent on high-leverage strategic initiatives. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE EDUCATION * Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or related field. * Equivalent professional experience in product leadership or financial sectors may substitute for formal education. Experience: * Financial Domain Expertise: Strong background in Accounting (AR/AP, Budgeting, Financial Reporting) and familiarity with Payments or Resale market dynamics. * Product Leadership: Proven experience in product leadership roles (Lead PM, GPM, or Senior PM with a strong track record of mentorship). * Business Mastery: Advanced understanding of the accounting and financial services market, including competitive landscape and business models in the property management industry. * Agile Proficiency: Deep knowledge of prioritization frameworks, product metrics, and agile methodologies applied to multi-disciplinary teams. * International Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills for daily collaboration with global and offshore teams across different time zones. Technical Skills: * Roadmap & Backlog Management: Mastery in managing complex backlogs and long-term product roadmaps. * Data Analysis: Experience with BI and product analytics tools (e.g., Pendo, Google Analytics) to drive strategy. * Technical Literacy: Solid understanding of UX/UI fundamentals and the software development lifecycle. * Preferred: Experience with accounting or payment systems (e.g., C3, CINC, Yardi, AppFolio, Vantaca, or similar systems).
