You work not only on delivery and on how we run a product, but also on creating a vision on how we create it, how we manage the business value and how we deliver a differentiating customer experience. Therefore, we need someone who can contribute to a continuous, emerging, all-round product vision that is covering all elements for the product life cycle, with the ultimate goal to increase customer impact. You do that by steering squads who work on the product by providing them with a strategic direction, by coaching them on the job, defining the product roadmap and by managing stakeholders around the product. The Data Management Experts who work in the squad’s report to you, which means it is your job to empower them to thrive and perform at their best. You set direction, you help them to develop their craftsmanship and you have continuous conversations about their career development. As a Product Lead you report hierarchically to a Product Area Lead, where multiple products come together. The Product: KYC Insights Being a safe- and compliant bank is a prerequisite for our licence to operate and for customer trust. Therefore we need solid and data driven Know Your Customer. As Product Lead KYC Insights, you deliver data and insights needed for these processes. In close cooperation with your stakeholders in the FCP NL Tribe, as well as their Global Counterparts, you develop and deliver governed data products such as operational data flows and analytical data-marts. Your product will have 2 main components. TM (Transaction monitoring) and CDD (Customer due diligence). You will enable FCP NL to ensure that we meet all requirements to deliver data needed for the TM & CDD domain to remain effective and efficient. You do this by taking responsibility for changes and necessary improvements to our data foundation and data flows, including quality and process standards. You are directly responsible for the TM Insights data product contributing to the vision and roadmap, which is created with input of key stakeholders that consume your product (mainly Global TM and Global CDO, Global FCFP Operations). Your product contains delivery of TM data to global FCRM via IWH, TAPT (transaction analysis pre-processing tool), Quantexa, Cesop, Outlier detection, and the Sandbox. You collaborate with FCP NL to ensure delivery of TM Insights related innovations and releases. You will be responsible for guiding the team within your Product group by providing them with strategic direction and coaching them on the job, defining the Product roadmap, and managing stakeholders around the Product. Roles and responsibilities As a Product Lead, you: Own a product (end-to-end), which means you are accountable for the product vision, including functionality, technology, user experience design, monetizing the functionality (or interaction pattern with internal consumers), how to acquire users and customers and offline experiences that are needed to deliver on the product’s value Take collective ownership of the product, including engineering and architecture aspects Perform analyses to stay on top of market trends, to ensure product’s competitive position Define the roadmap of the product to maximize business value through ordering and prioritisation of the product backlog, under consideration of relevant stakeholder needs Prioritise the product backlog (both on functional as non-functional requirements as risks, reliability, IT Run, LCM) Focus on delivery through collaboration, ability to bring people together to work towards the same purpose. Are able to take responsibility, steer strategy and realisations based on facts and data; managerial courage to question and make decisions. Are a mandated IT asset owner, risk manager, and in case of a non-generic IT asset, data owner for the product and accepts test results and approves (IT) changes on the product Ensures adherence to Data Governance controls (DMPCS, BCBS239, etc) Build the craftsmanship of the employees in the team in line with the strategy of the Tribe and Area. Ensure compliance with relevant regulation and internal/external requirements (E.g. GDPR, SOX, BCBS239) Are the hierarchical manager of a team of Data Management Experts, working in multiple squads organized around your product. You always pay attention to the input and opinions of others Develop talent, by helping people in your team to achieve their career goals by emphasizing the importance of learning, support people in developing new skills and offer opportunities to develop people’s careers Have a customer focus, where you build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions Drive engagement, you create an environment in which people are motivated to perform at their best to help ING to achieve its goals Be organisational savvy, you manoeuvre easily through complex policies, processes and people-related organisational dynamics across ING Look ahead, you show a strategic mindset, and you find future opportunities which you can translate into concrete strategies Be tech savvy, where you anticipate and leverage innovations in digital and technical applications that make ING commercially stronger and more effective Proven track record and technical skills: As a Product Lead, you have: Experience/Affinity in the KYC domain and Data domain Experience in defining strategies and policies in order to set and deliver objectives within medium to long time frames A proven track record in processes of digitalization, backlog management and resource planning Experience in product/service management and development Sound experience in building and executing strategic roadmaps Experience in explaining complex issues in an easy-to-understand way to get people on board, including by using your strong analytical skills Experience in Data Management and knowledge of Data Solutions (E.g.
