Job Description

The Product Lead, Aurora to Core is responsible for translating Aurora’s AI-native strategy into core broker and customer products, reusable intelligence capabilities, and governed operating changes across Lendi Group.

This role owns the product strategy, prioritisation, discovery, delivery, stakeholder alignment and performance of the Aurora to Core stream. The role exists to ensure AI and agentic experiences are thoughtfully embedded into Lendi Group’s core systems, broker workflows and customer journeys in a way that delivers measurable customer, commercial and operational value.

The Product Lead will balance rapid AI adoption with compliance-by-design, reuse of enterprise capability, commercial discipline and minimal disruption to core business operations. This includes leading the roadmap for customer and broker-facing AI products, as well as the shared intelligence capabilities that enable these experiences to scale safely and effectively.

As a people leader, this role will manage and coach a Product Manager, helping to lift product practice, strengthen prioritisation, and ensure the team is focused on the highest-value problems across the Aurora to Core portfolio.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the Aurora to Core product strategy, roadmap and prioritisation, aligning delivery with Lendi Group objectives, customer and broker needs, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Translate Aurora’s AI-native vision into scalable products and reusable capabilities embedded across core systems, workflows and customer journeys.
  • Lead discovery to identify customer, broker and business problems, determining whether AI, deterministic solutions or operational improvements are the best path to value.
  • Define MVPs, pilot strategies, rollout plans, success metrics and decision gates for AI-enabled products.
  • Own the direction and delivery of customer and broker-facing AI experiences, including conversational AI, automation agents and intelligence products.
  • Lead a cross-functional squad across Product, Design, Engineering, Data and QA, maintaining a high-quality backlog and clear release planning.
  • Align stakeholders across Product, Aurora, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Operations and GTM to drive adoption and operating model change.
  • Represent the product stream in senior governance forums, managing roadmap decisions, risks and AI compliance by design.
  • Measure and optimise product performance through adoption, operational metrics, customer insight, agent accuracy and value realisation.
  • Coach and develop Product Managers while elevating product practice through strong prioritisation, commercial judgement and customer-centric thinking.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital product management, owning complex products, platforms or customer journeys from strategy through delivery and optimisation.
  • Demonstrated experience operating at Senior Product Manager level, with ownership of product strategy, roadmap prioritisation and measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience leading and developing cross-functional product teams, with the ability to coach Product Managers and influence without formal authority.
  • Proven ability to lead discovery, define MVPs, manage pilots and deliver high-quality product launches in collaboration with Design, Engineering, Data and Business stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial and customer judgement, balancing user needs with business value, operational efficiency, scalability and risk.
  • Technical fluency and data literacy, with the ability to work closely with engineering, define success metrics, interpret performance and make evidence-based decisions.
  • Experience delivering AI-enabled, automation or conversational products is highly desirable, including an understanding of agentic workflows and emerging technologies.
  • Experience working in financial services, lending, mortgage broking, property or another regulated environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of governance, compliance and operational controls, particularly for AI, automation and customer-facing digital experiences.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align senior leaders and delivery teams while thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
