Description

As the Product Lead for Search Experience, you’ll own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key features that make the product exploration successful for the user. Your mission: Empower millions of shoppers to find exactly what they need.
Your challenge: How can we structure and present the information about our billions of offers and millions of products in a way that guides rather than overwhelms the user? What information is relevant and how can it be presented to guide the user?

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 + years shipping and scaling digital products in e-commerce, search, or marketplace domains.
  • Proven record of hitting metrics like click-through rate, conversion, or revenue lift.
  • Data-savvy: You can frame SQL questions and turn insights into action. You can work with a product analyst to acquire the appropriate more complex actionable insights.
  • You think strategically while caring deeply about UX details as well as SEO requirements.
  • Fluent English and German for efficient communication with stakeholders.
  • Empathetic, inspirational leader known for bringing cross-functional teams along.
  • Bonus: program / project-management skills in complex, multi-team environments.

Responsibilities
  • Define the vision, KPIs, and roadmap for search results pages - including ranking presentation, filters, product tiles, and sponsored placements.
  • Identify high-leverage opportunities beyond your immediate scope that raise the bar for the overall consumer experience.
  • Develop solutions for customer problems based on UX research, data, and feasibility.
  • Partner with engineering through discovery and delivery to ensure perfect execution.
  • Ensure measurable impact by driving A/B tests at scale.
  • Partner closely with the Search Backend Product Lead and stakeholders in Content, and B2B Sales & Marketing.
  • Champion transparency - communicate progress to executives, stakeholders and peers.
