PSS is building a global payments platform to consolidate all of ING’s payments volumes resulting in cost-efficiency for ING and a more strengthened and centralised control environment for payments. PSS is an independent unit within ING’s COO domain, reporting directly into ING’s COO. PSS is a Business Services oriented organization. To deliver on our ambitious roadmap, we have organized ourselves into a strong strategic and commercially focused organization around our services. In the area of SEPA, we are looking for a Product Lead SEPA Direct Debits to further improve/mature our service offering and deliver on our ambitious roadmap Your responsibilities You take full ownership for the product and are responsible for the product vision & strategy, to create business value and deliver a differentiating customer experience. You manage the product’s life cycle, with the ultimate goal to increase customer impact. You perform analyses to stay on top of market trends, to ensure the product’s competitive position. You define the roadmap of the product and maximize business value through prioritization of the product backlog, under consideration of relevant stakeholder needs. You are responsible for product performance, including reporting to and reviews with consuming parties/entities. You are responsible for the creation of annual financial plans and managing your product & teams within budget. You manage teams that work on the product, by providing them with strategic direction and by coaching them on the job. You are the hierarchical manager of the business people in the teams, and it’s your job to empower them to thrive and perform at their best. You set direction, you help them to develop their craftsmanship and you have continuous conversations about their career development. We are looking for A leader who takes things on and makes things happen; who is passionate about helping others to be successful; and has a knack for always being a step ahead. You are a naturally collaborative person who listens and invests in others to achieve common goals. You love to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems. Your qualifications Preferable a Master's degree; Experience in product/service management and development; Experienced in building and executing strategic roadmaps, as well as delivering strategic projects with high impact, in accordance with agreed timelines; Multiple years’ experience on a senior position in the SEPA domain preferable SEPA Direct Debits; Proven track record in driving and steering multidisciplinary teams and experience working together with Product, Operations and Development teams. Your skills You look ahead, have a strategic mindset, and find opportunities which you translate into concrete strategies; Organisational savvy, manoeuvre easily through complex policies, processes, and organisational dynamics across ING; Have a customer focus, build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions; Drive engagement and create an environment in which people are motivated to perform at their best to help ING achieve its goals; A self-starter.
