JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility for the Dealer Service Tools Product Lifecycle Manager is to maximize business potential through creating, implementing and managing strategic business development initiatives to assist in the delivery of the annual Dealer Service Tools sales business plan, which supports the corporate Services Growth initiative and aligns with the Global Service strategy of improving technician efficiency, enabling dealer capacity and capability, and contributing to dealer operational excellence.

SUMMARY PAY RANGE:

$144,960.00 - $217,320.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.

Responsibilities

Your primary deliverables will include:

  • Monitor and manage all aspects of aftermarket key initiatives to ensure departmental Revenue, OPACC, and tools Availability goals are met.
  • Supplier identification and product sourcing strategy.
  • Supplier relationship management & new supplier onboarding.
  • Monitor and support PSLD resolution of Supplier Price Increase Requests (PIRs).
  • Support of relevant PSLD transformation projects.
  • Monitor, prioritize, and lead collaborative projects to manage and resolve Unlaunched Requisitions (ULRs), including Down Order Resolution.
  • Ownership to address negative OPACC-C part numbers.
  • Logistics: Make decisions on stock, MAO, or Direct Ship.
  • Availability: Supply Chain Issue Resolution (supplier constraints, pricing and invoices).
  • Inventory Management: Stocking levels, Turns, Promotions & NPI Stocking. Identifies, communicates, and drives opportunities to positively impact profitability.
  • Direct staff and functions for developing new channels and new lines of business.
  • Product Support – DSN, top field issues, warranty, and service publications.
