PRODUCT LINE MANAGER (PLM) – OPTICAL ENGINES

Ranovus is a leading provider of high-capacity photonics-based interconnect solutions that enable scale-up and scale-out compute networks for AI and cloud infrastructure. Our ODIN® optical engine platform combines advanced silicon photonics, high-speed electronics, lasers, and packaging technologies to deliver multi-terabit/second connectivity with industry-leading energy efficiency.
We are seeking a Product Line Manager (PLM) to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our next-generation multi-terabit optical engines .

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define and execute the product roadmap for high-capacity optical engines (100G–200G/lane, multi-terabit systems).
  • Anticipate customer needs and align products to Hyperscaler, AI/ML infrastructure, and networking roadmaps.
  • Work with executive leadership to set pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Customer & Market Engagement
  • Act as the primary interface with hyperscalers, networking OEMs, and semiconductor partners.
  • Collect and translate customer requirements into product features and specifications.
  • Build business cases, market analyses, and competitive positioning for product decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Drive collaboration across engineering, sales, operations, and executive teams to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Define MRDs (Market Requirement Documents) and PRDs (Product Requirement Documents).
  • Ensure seamless new product introduction (NPI) and lifecycle management.
  • Performance & Metrics
  • Track KPIs across revenue, margins, adoption rate, and customer satisfaction.Identify opportunities for differentiation in power efficiency, bandwidth density, and cost per bit.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, business development, or technical marketing in optical interconnects, photonics, or semiconductor industries.
  • Strong technical understanding of silicon photonics, optical engines, pluggables, or Co-Packaged Optics (CPO).
  • Proven success managing multi-terabit interconnect products or high-speed networking technologies (Ethernet, PCIe, InfiniBand, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with ability to engage C-level and technical stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving new product adoption in emerging markets.
