This position includes sourcing new products for our product lines helping to identify and highlight the value-adds of these products, working with vendors, supporting commercialization efforts, and utilizing project management skills.      Responsibilities: * Identify and evaluate new products for potential additions to the Kimball Midwest product line. Products should be selected for their ability to support the company strategies. * Generate new product sales of 0.25% of corporate sales at a minimum GP equal to the overall new product margin requirement. * Create and present new item presentations and trainings at internal meetings and sales meetings. * Research domestic product options for existing Kimball Midwest imported products or new item concept product lines to see if domestic sourcing is viable to ensure that we are offering our customers the highest performing product at a competitive price and supporting our domestic economy at the same time. * Work closely with the category management team on defining marketing strategies and identifying gaps in the assortment as well as the promotions team to execute new product launches.  * Discover and promote value adds for products. Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration. Equivalent experience in MRO or industrial setting also welcome. * 3-5 years of experience sourcing products  * Working knowledge of the role of the expeditor in the distribution of aftermarket products to industrial, automotive, fleet, construction, commercial, institutional, and governmental markets is preferred.  * Working knowledge of excel and SQL * Internal sales skills to present ideas internally with technical aptitude. * Analytical skills to evaluate sales performance and potential. * Ability to conduct product testing including but not limited to grinding, cutting, drilling as well as conducting chemical testing.
