Infosys Public Services is seeking a Product Management Consultant to join our team.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):

  • Perform functional decomposition and overall effort estimation, develop a schedule for functionality, create high-quality code, provide inputs on quality assurance, contribute to risk identification, provide inputs to technical documentation, track and report on functionality, and review test cases to ensure high-quality product delivery WITHIN the guidelines and norms of Infosys.
  • Contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle.
  • To be intensely involved in business process consulting, define the problem, propose a solution, and create the solution.
  • Will guide teams on project processes, and deliverables contribute to the proposal development, client training, and internal capability building, and help detail the project scope.
  • Will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape

Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, and requirement elicitation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Management areas such as Product Owner/Product Manager, and ability to interface with customers and other stakeholders.
  • Product Management Experience in a Global Delivery Model.
  • Experience with Product Strategy and Business Alignment.
  • Should be able to provide inputs for Functional Solution design, Product Strategy definition, and work on business alignment.
  • Should have sound client and stakeholder management skills and experience in working in a Global Delivery Model.

Educational Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master’s degree program are strongly preferred.

The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
