Description
We are seeking a Product Management Operations Specialist to support our Reference Standards product portfolio and help drive excellence across the product lifecycle. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Management Operations, this role plays a key part in enabling day-to-day product execution by partnering closely with Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, Customer Service, IT, Marketing, and Sales. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technical expertise, product operations, and cross-functional collaboration, and who takes pride in solving complex problems that directly impact customers. What You’ll Do * Support the Reference Standards product portfolio by partnering with Product Management to enable execution across the full product lifecycle. * Prepare and manage customer quotes and product data, including setup, maintenance, and lifecycle updates within CQD and ERP systems. * Serve as a technical problem-solver, troubleshooting product issues and collaborating with R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing to drive quality and process improvements. * Analyze customer feedback, product data, and market trends to generate insights that inform product enhancements and competitive positioning. * Support internal and external stakeholders by responding to Level 2 technical inquiries and enabling Technical Service and Sales teams. * Document, improve, and train others on product-related processes, procedures, and best practices. What You Bring Education & Experience * Bachelor’s degree in a science or business-related field. * Experience in a product-related role; background in chromatography or a laboratory environment is a strong plus. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Strong customer focus with the ability to balance technical requirements and business priorities. * Solid laboratory experience with the ability to support and manufacture complex reference standards, including multi-component solutions and gas mixtures is a plus. * Proven problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset. * Effective communicator with strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Technical Service teams. * Comfortable working with data, systems, and standard business tools (ERP, databases, spreadsheets, and documentation platforms). This position will require the successful completion of a standard background check in accordance with Restek policy.
