JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented, motivated, and flexible individual to support the Women’s Health Ultrasound team.
As a Product Management Trainee, you will play a crucial role in the product definition process of our ultrasound product solutions that meets best customer needs. Your responsibilities will include supporting creation of business cases, envision product strategy from various aspects and be part of short-/mid/long term product roadmap planning.
This 24 months trainee program for high potential talents in ultrasound technology built on three rotations in different areas of the business (Clinical Product Management, Product Management and Clinical & Product Application for International). For the time of the traineeship you will be based in our Technology and Make Center in Zipf/Upper Austria.
This program will provide you with deep insights into the NPI (New Product Introduction) development process for ultrasound products within obstetrics and gynecology.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering/ Business, Health Studies, Master in Sonography, Healthcare Management or a related field or degree as Sonographer& Midwife in Obstetrics/ Gynaecology or Radiographer
• Previous experience in product/ project management, business administration or customer relationship management is not mandatory but a big plus
• Strong understanding of ultrasound technology and ideally women’s health
• Proficiency in English (fluency required - written & verbal). German (nice to have)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Good organisation and time management skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• A self-motivator with a can-do approach

• Help define, design and refine products and services to address customer needs
• Be a strong strategic visioner in all product discussions, making sure the needs and trends from all global markets are evaluated as part of decision making
• Partner with Global Product Management and represent the product portfolio in front of management
• Assist with development of business cases to drive growth within Women’s Health Ultrasound Review sales data, work with regional GM´s to understand win/ loss data and drive growth
• Develop competitive benchmarking and product understanding
• Evaluate data for the customer quality and installed base for our product portfolio within the Women’s Health segment
• Assist with delivering the NPIs for the Women’s Health segment by working closely with product teams and probe engineering teams across multiple sites across the globe
• Support Product/ Marketing teams in creation of training materials for NPIs
• Evangelize for the product by presenting to customers and user groups; represent the product at trade shows; sell product roadmap internally provide sales training and generate enthusiasm for the product
