Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT JAMF:

The Product Manager optimizes their product roadmap to deliver a quality product that customers value. They observe customers, users, competitors, and other market signals to identify valuable product opportunities and turn these into product initiatives. They partner closely with strategists, product owners, engineering leaders, and internal & external stakeholders to prioritize and optimize valuable product increments. The Product Manager is the internal evangelist for their product and works closely with Product Marketing to shape the external marketing message. The Product Manager is responsible for managing one or more Product Owners.

YOU MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK PERIODICALLY AT A JAMF OFFICE OR COLLABORATIVE WORK LOCATION WITH OTHER JAMF EMPLOYEES IN YOUR AREA FOR CERTAIN EVENTS OR MOMENTS THAT MATTER. WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ACCEPT APPLICATIONS IN EITHER OF THESE LOCATIONS.

What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data about prospective and active customers, users, competitors, and other market signals to identify product initiatives and develop business cases with estimated costs and value
  • Align with strategists, engineering leaders, and product owners to develop a product roadmap with prioritized intiatives, aligned with Jamf corporate and product strategies
  • Maintain close relationships with key stakeholders and customers to solicit and understand product needs, gather feedback, and communicate your product vision
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding, acting as the primary spokesperson for the product and communicating product updates and status to stakeholders
  • Act as the final decision maker to define and prioritize product level release scope and partner with product owner and engineering leaders to maximize the value produced by the team
  • Analyze product and market data to accurately measure the impact and value of product initiatives
  • Assist in the definition of functional requirements, non-functional requirements and solution-specific market requirements
