We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Product Manager to oversee our existing product portfolio across Asia and the Middle East. This role focuses on ensuring that products remain competitive, profitable, and sustainable by conducting product reviews, analysing benchmarks, gathering feedback from sales and brokers, and negotiating with insurers. Acting as a bridge between technical, commercial, and operational teams, the Product Manager will ensure coherence and consistency across all products while maintaining strong relationships with insurers.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong understanding of health insurance product design and pricing principles.
  • Commercial acumen and proven negotiation experience with insurers or business partners.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and challenge technical outputs.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Background in product management, actuarial, underwriting, or related fields.

Responsibilities
  • Lead annual reviews of existing products, analysing performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and market research to inform product adjustments.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams to gather insights and feedback.
  • Negotiate with insurers on product revamps, terms, and conditions, balancing technical analysis with commercial needs.
  • Maintain product coherence across definitions, exclusions, and workflows to simplify downstream processes (e.g., claims).
  • Develop and maintain internal product guidelines to support Sales, Operations, and Support teams.
  • Monitor market and industry trends to ensure products remain competitive and relevant.
  • Contribute to portfolio optimisation initiatives, such as rationalisation or revamps, while minimising business disruption.
