Description
About Qevlar AI Qevlar is a B2B SaaS startup that strives to massively increase the productivity of cybersecurity teams. We develop AI Cybersecurity Analysts that augment Security Operations Centers (SOCs). Since our creation 2 years ago, we have: Raised €14 million in seed funding led by EQT Ventures and Forgepoint Capital Been incubated both by Microsoft (genAI studio) and Meta (AI program) Deployed our solution to Global 500 companies and leading MSSPs in EMEA and NA We're looking for a Product Manager to own one of our most technically complex and commercially important product areas: helping security teams move from detecting threats to actually fixing them. About the role Security analysts don't just need to know what's wrong - they need to fix it. Fast. Safely. At scale. You'll build the products that help them do that: workflows that recommend, execute, and govern response actions across cloud, identity, endpoint, and email environments. This means designing for both autonomous execution and human oversight, building trust through auditability and control, and navigating complex technical and policy constraints. This is execution-focused product work in a high-stakes domain. You'll spend your time talking to analysts and MSSPs to understand their operational reality, working with engineering to ship features that handle real-world complexity, and figuring out how these capabilities could evolve into standalone offerings. The hard parts: the technical depth required is real. Customer expectations are high. The problem space has a lot of ambiguity. You'll need to bring order to chaos while shipping continuously. What you'll do Own the roadmap for security response automation - from identifying high-value use cases to shipping production features Design workflows that balance speed and safety: when should the system act autonomously vs. require human approval? Work directly with SOC analysts and MSSPs to understand their operational constraints, validate designs, and iterate based on real-world feedback Collaborate with engineering to build execution paths that work across different security tools and environments Define governance models: access controls, audit trails, policy frameworks that make customers comfortable automating sensitive actions Partner with GTM to explore how these capabilities could become standalone products or new commercial models Track what matters: adoption rates, time-to-resolution improvements, customer trust indicators Who you are Required: 4+ years as a Product Manager in security, DevOps automation, or technical enterprise SaaS Deep familiarity with security operations - you understand incident response workflows, SOAR tools, or how SOCs actually work Technically credible - you can hold your own in conversations with security engineers and understand API integrations, auth models, and system architectures Customer obsessed - you actively seek out users, ask hard questions, and let their reality shape your roadmap Comfortable with ambiguity - you can take a messy problem space and create clarity without waiting for perfect information Strong written and verbal communication - you can explain complex technical concepts simply Nice to have: Experience building automation, orchestration, or workflow products Understanding of identity systems, endpoint management, or cloud security platforms Prior work with MSSPs or multi-tenant security environments Familiarity with RBAC, policy engines, or compliance frameworks You'll struggle here if: You need well-defined requirements and clear answers before you can move You're not technical enough to understand how security tools actually work together You prefer strategic decks over shipping features and talking to customers You can't handle the pace and ambiguity of early-stage product development Why join us Work on one of the most technically interesting problems in security ops: making automation trustworthy and usable Join a small, high-impact product team where your decisions directly shape what we build and how we grow Shape products that are already deployed at Global 500 companies and leading MSSPs A company culture that values autonomy, technical depth, and getting real feedback from users Opportunity for equity and early ownership We're flexible on location - you can either work from home or join your colleagues in our beautiful office in Paris' 9th arrondissement If you're excited about building products that help security teams work faster and smarter, we'd love to hear from you. Hiring process Intro Call Product Interview (customer scenarios, technical depth) Case Study (take-home exercise) Meet the Team
