JOB BRIEF

This primary role reports directly to the VP of Product Marketing and is centered on Product Management. It is a multi-disciplinary position that requires strong technical product knowledge, an understanding of the markets served, and a solid grasp of both the sales and product cycles.
The Product Manager will play a key role in managing the flow of product information from Axiomtek Headquarters to the U.S. field sales team. To be effective, this individual must be a clear and timely communicator with strong presentation and writing skills.
Working under the guidance of the Product Solution Manager and the VP of Product Marketing, the Product Manager will be instrumental in ensuring their assigned product sector receives the visibility and awareness needed within the Axiomtek USA organization.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex product details.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in the company’s business software, including SAP, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and Microsoft Project.
Responsibilities

The Product Manager will serve as a key liaison between Axiomtek Headquarters and the U.S. field sales organization, ensuring the effective flow of product knowledge and market insights. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing and guided by the Product Solution Manager, this role requires a balance of strong technical expertise, market awareness, and a clear understanding of both the sales and product cycles. The Product Manager will drive product visibility, awareness, and adoption within Axiomtek USA by delivering timely communication, impactful presentations, and clear written materials. Ultimately, this role is instrumental in enabling sales success and positioning assigned product sectors for growth in the U.S. market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinate with Axiomtek HQ SBU teams to ensure timely communication with U.S. sales teams regarding product roadmaps, samples, announcements, product change notices (PCN), end-of-life (EOL) updates, and other product-specific information.
  • Deliver product training across departments, covering product specifications and applications.
  • Support sales teams by providing product knowledge and application expertise, including joint efforts to deliver training to channel partners and representatives.
  • Manage EOL processes by developing inventory strategies in collaboration with sales and management.
  • Oversee PCN processes by determining required actions and ensuring all departments follow proper procedures.
  • Handle new part number requests in PLM and collaborate with purchasing to maintain accurate product descriptions and pricing in SAP.
  • Must adhere to Quality Management System and security operating procedures.
