POSITION

The Product Manager Bags + Accessories will act as centre of expertise on assigned category, supervising the entire product development process, in constant dialogue and harmony with Design, Merchandising and Production departments aiming at the construction of a collection in coherence with the plan and assigned budget.

Responsibilities
  • The PM is the natural key point of reference for suppliers and coordinates external services for all phases of sample production, from the passage of the sketches up to the delivery of the samples, including production correction on the perimeter of categories: Bags, SLG and Soft Accessories.
  • The PM supervises the coding of models, creation and processing of Diba, compilation and creation of fabric codes marketed on Kubix.
  • Provides input to the office purchases in relation to the quantities of materials for the samples to be purchased.
  • Supports Quality Control for labels and tags to be recorded on Kubix (Production, maintenance and washing insertion)
  • Participates to fitting with style and merchandising department
  • Takes care of the preparation of Sales Book for Retail by Modelform
  • Conducts research and development of accessories required by the Style Department: contacts suppliers and develops the creative idea of the designer (activity which requires greater sensitivity).
  • Price/Cost Management: the product development process must ensure alignment with the target prices provided by the merchandising function. Searching for alternatives in case of out-of-budget costs; controlling and entering industrial costs into the portal.
  • License Follow-Up Management: Product coding, meetings with suppliers, follow-up with Merchandising.
    This position requires business trips for collection follow-up at suppliers.
