Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Product Manager to support the ongoing development and delivery of Horizon. This is a highly execution-focused role at the center of customer engagement and engineering delivery. You will work directly with customers to understand operational requirements, advise on best practices, and translate high-level requests into clear product specifications and detailed JIRA tickets. You will partner closely with engineering to ensure features are delivered efficiently, with quality, and in a way that remains scalable across a multi-tenant enterprise SaaS platform. This role requires strong ownership and follow-through. You will be deeply involved in customer onboarding, integrations, data imports, feature enhancements, bug resolution, and continuous improvement — ensuring that customers are successfully implemented and supported as the product evolves. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience building complex enterprise SaaS products, strong technical fluency (including APIs and data flows), exceptional communication skills, and a genuine interest (and, ideally, experience) in aviation. This role requires someone who can think systemically, balance immediate customer demands with long-term platform scalability, and take full ownership of outcomes in a fast-moving, customer-centric environment. About Horizon Portside Horizon is a modern flight operations management platform for business aviation operators. It serves as the system of record for scheduling and dispatch, crew legality compliance, charter quoting, regulatory reporting, and operational analytics. Horizon centralizes operational workflows to enable safe, compliant, and efficient flight operations. Key Responsibilities Product Execution & Delivery Translate customer requirements into structured product specifications and detailed JIRA tickets Prioritize and manage backlog in partnership with engineering Participate in sprint planning, standups, and release coordination Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of features and improvements Allocate attention to technical debt, test coverage, monitoring, and performance Customer Engagement Engage directly with charter operators and corporate flight departments Advise customers on system configuration and best practices Support successful onboarding, including complex data imports and workflow alignment Attend industry conferences and represent Horizon in customer discussions Integrations & Data Work with third-party vendors and API partners on integrations Define integration requirements and oversee API enhancements Help improve and streamline customer data migration and onboarding processes Continuous Improvement & Innovation Identify opportunities to enhance scalability and operational efficiency Explore practical AI-driven features that support automation and decision support Ensure product improvements reflect real-world aviation workflows Qualifications 5+ years building and delivering complex enterprise SaaS applications Experience working closely with engineering teams in an agile environment Proven ability to translate customer needs into detailed specifications and engineering tickets Experience with API-driven systems and third-party integrations Exposure to enterprise onboarding and data migration processes Skills & Attributes Strong interest in aviation; prior experience in business aviation is a significant plus Deep systems thinking — ability to balance immediate customer needs with long-term scalability Strong technical fluency (you don’t need to code, but you must understand data schemas and APIs) Exceptional communication skills — able to engage pilots, schedulers, executives, and engineers alike High ownership mindset: willing to do what it takes to ensure customer success Excellent project management and organizational skills Ability to supervise engineering execution while maintaining collaborative relationships Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving SaaS environment What Success Looks Like Customer implementations completed successfully and on time Clear, well-structured backlog aligned with delivery priorities Improved onboarding speed and reduced integration friction Consistent, high-quality engineering execution Integrations are stable and well-documented Horizon continues to evolve as a reliable, mission-critical platform for business aviation What We Offer Competitive base salary Fully remote work Generous time off policy Health, dental, and vision insurance Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
