That means we obsess over how to make the lives of our customers, and their customers, better. And it means we prioritize a diverse F5 community where each individual can thrive. Position Summary We are looking for a Product Manager to help design, launch, and manage buying programs that make it easier for customers to purchase and consume our products. This role is focused on execution — gathering requirements, building features in partnership with Product Managers and working closely with Sales and Customer Success to ensure programs deliver value to both customers and F5. In the Commercial Models Buying Program team you will be part of a very dynamic and collaborative team that addresses a wide range of opportunities. As a Product Manager (PM), you will lead efforts to craft new and improving existing buying programs (like Flex Consumption, Term Subscription, etc.) and supporting Sales with specific Customer deals. You will work collaboratively, driving strategic alignment within the organization, and can communicate to both internal and external audiences. You will develop requirements using a balance of future vision, near term opportunities, customer requirements, business insight, and management of day-to-day program issues. This role requires a good understanding of both F5 and industry licensing and business practices. You can expect to be mentored and supported in your skill development and career growth by a diverse group of experienced Product Management professionals. Primary Responsibilities Program Development & Execution Translate customer needs, sales feedback, and business goals into clear requirements for buying programs (subscriptions, usage models, credit systems, bundles, etc.). Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize the backlog to support program delivery. Partner with Product, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth implementation and integration into commerce, billing, and support systems. Customer & Sales Enablement Support Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing with program documentation, FAQs, and training. Collect and synthesize customer and field feedback to inform program improvements. Work with enablement teams to make programs easy to explain, adopt, and scale. Program Operations Monitor program usage, adoption, and operational performance. Identify and resolve issues in workflows, processes, or customer experience. Track program metrics and provide input into reporting dashboards. Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with senior Product Managers on roadmap alignment while owning specific deliverables. Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Operations on program policies, terms, and compliance. Serve as a day-to-day contact point for questions and blockers related to buying programs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 3–5 years of product management, program management, or business operations experience in a subscription business. Solid understanding of SaaS business models (subscription, usage-based, consumption credits, etc.). Experience writing requirements, managing backlogs, and collaborating with Product, Sales, Customer Success and Finance teams. Strong organizational and communication skills; able to translate complexity into clarity. Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities. Ability to work independently or lead others on projects. Qualifications BA/BS degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another relevant field. MBA a plus. 3+ years of licensing, pricing, sales, or equivalent. Experience using Microsoft Office products (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint).
